Installation Guide
Before You Begin
Please read through this guide completely before starting. Proper preparation ensures a clean, professional result and protects your walls and drapery.
Tools You Will Need
- Power drill with wall anchors
- Spirit level
- Steel measuring tape
- Pencil for marking
- Screwdriver
- Step ladder
- Stud finder (recommended)
- Soft cloth to protect fabric
✨ Tip: Whenever possible, anchor brackets into wall studs for maximum support — especially for heavier fabrics like velvet and wool.
Step 1 — Mark Your Bracket Positions
Decide on the height of your rod or track. For a grand, high-ceiling effect, mount as close to the ceiling or crown molding as possible. Use a pencil and spirit level to mark bracket positions, ensuring they are perfectly horizontal.

Step 2 — Install the Brackets
- Drill pilot holes at your marked positions.
- Insert wall anchors if not drilling into a stud.
- Screw brackets firmly into place.
- Double-check with your spirit level before proceeding.

Step 3 — Hang Your Drapes
For Rod Systems (French Pleat, Grommet, Rod Pocket)
- Thread your curtains onto the rod before mounting, or attach hooks to the header tape.
- Place the rod onto the brackets and secure the end caps.
- Distribute the fabric evenly across the rod.
- Adjust the pleats or folds by hand for an even, balanced appearance.
For Track Systems (S-Fold, Pinch Pleat)
- Clip or hook the curtain carriers onto the track gliders, starting from one end.
- Attach the curtain header tape to the carriers at even intervals.
- Slide the curtain along the track to test smooth operation.
- Adjust carrier spacing if needed for uniform ripple or pleat spacing.
"Dressing" your curtains trains the fabric to fall in consistent, beautiful folds. After hanging:
- Arrange the folds by hand from top to bottom.
- Loosely tie the curtain with a soft fabric strip or ribbon at three points — top, middle, and bottom.
- Leave tied for 48–72 hours to allow the fabric to set.
- Remove ties and enjoy your perfectly draped curtains.
✨ Tip: Light steaming while the curtains are tied will help the folds set more quickly and beautifully.
Motorized Track Installation
Our S-Fold and Pinch Pleat drapes are fully compatible with motorized track systems including Somfy, Silent Gliss, and most smart home platforms.
- Follow your motorized track manufacturer’s installation instructions for the track itself.
- Attach curtain carriers to the motor-driven gliders as described above.
- Set travel limits on the motor according to your track length.
- Pair with your smart home system (Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit) per the motor app instructions.
⚠️ We recommend professional installation for motorized systems to ensure correct limit settings and warranty compliance.
